Stocks making the biggest moves pre-market: CRWV, SMIC, COHR

Check out the companies making the biggest premarket moves: Super Micro Computers — Data center infrastructure stocks rose more than 7.5% after Super Micro Computers beat expectations for the fourth quarter and issued a rosy outlook for first-quarter profits and revenue. The company expects adjusted earnings to be in the range of $1.01 to $1.10 per share, well above LSEG’s consensus estimate of 76 cents per share. The sales outlook, which ranged from $14.5 billion to $15.5 billion, also beat expectations of $11.68 billion. CoreWeave — The artificial intelligence cloud company’s stock rose more than 18.5%. Second-quarter adjusted operating margin was 5%, compared with the FactSet consensus estimate of 2.7%. Revenue was $2.58 billion, up 112% year-over-year and beating LSEG’s consensus estimate of $2.56 billion. Lumentum Holdings — Shares rose more than 8% after the optical and photonics products maker posted fourth-quarter adjusted earnings and better-than-expected revenue. Benefiting from AI, the company has been a huge success so far, up more than 120% since the beginning of the year. Nebius Group — AI Infrastructure stock soared more than 12.5% ​​after the company reported better-than-expected EBITDA and revenue compared to analysts surveyed based on FactSet consensus estimates. Gross profit margin was also better than expected. Coherent — The optoelectronic device maker was boosted by Lumentum earnings ahead of its own set scheduled to ship after the bell Wednesday. Shares rose more than 5.5% in pre-market trading. The company’s stock price rose more than 65% during the fiscal fourth quarter. H&R Block — Shares rose 11% after H&R Block announced an upbeat outlook for fiscal year 2027. The company expects adjusted earnings to be between $6.04 and $6.24 per share and revenue between $4.11 billion and $4.16 billion. By comparison, LSEG’s consensus estimate is $5.86 per share, or $4.05 billion. Kontoor Brands — The apparel company fell nearly 3% after reporting lower-than-expected earnings in the second quarter. Kontoor had revenue of $584 million, compared to the $587 million expected by analysts compiled by FactSet. Earnings were slightly above expectations, and the company raised its full-year profit outlook above consensus estimates. Cava Group — Shares of the Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant chain rose nearly 12% after the company reported second-quarter earnings of 19 cents per share, beating the LSEG consensus estimate of 18 cents per share. Sales were $368.4 million, exceeding expectations of $361 million. Software stocks — While AI trade names were among the S&P 500 Index’s winners in premarket trading Wednesday, software names were also among the index’s biggest losers.
