airbnb CEO Brian Chesky said in an interview with CNBC’s David Faber that aired Thursday that the technology is not “inherently good or bad.” He said the potential of this technology lies in human hands.
“I’m not sure I’m right. I’m not sure it’s for the better, but I think it’s possible. It’s like nuclear power. Sometimes it lights up a city, sometimes it destroys a city,” Chesky said.
He added that his AI theory is a “cognitive revolution” that, along with technology, will help humans become smarter.
“We need to remind people of how valuable they are to society, and that AI is a wave and we can ride the wave instead of being swallowed by the water.”
