human CEO Dario Amodei and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is among the tech executives scheduled to attend Tuesday’s luncheon with President Donald Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson, people familiar with the plans spoke on condition of anonymity because the details are private.

alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai will also be attending the luncheon, the company confirmed on Monday. Nvidia According to MS Now, CEO Jensen Huang said: OpenAI President Greg Brockman is also expected to attend, Reuters reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

President Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance and other administration officials will host a daylong event Tuesday to announce the launch of a new website for federal information and resources, White House officials said. The event will feature panel discussions on topics such as artificial intelligence, energy, and space.

Tom Brown, Anthropic’s co-founder and chief computing officer, also plans to attend the event, according to a person familiar with the plans, who asked not to be identified because the details are private.

Last week, executives from several major technology companies attended a state dinner accompanying Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit. apple’s Tim Cook space x Elon Musk and advanced micro device CEO Lisa Su.

Amodei was absent from China’s state dinner on Thursday, but had a private dinner with the president on Sunday. It was the first one-on-one meeting between the two leaders, said a person familiar with the visit, who requested anonymity to discuss sensitive matters.

Tuesday’s meeting could be another opportunity for technology leaders, especially Amodei, to defuse tensions with the White House as the debate over the safety of AI grows and leaders take sides on possible regulation. Protests erupted after a former anthropology researcher accused the AI Frontier Institute of “putting lives on the line.”

Industry leaders such as OpenAI chief Sam Altman and Musk echoed calls for an industry-wide slowdown after Amodei wrote an essay urging companies to “keep pace with the frontier” of advanced AI. President Trump, on the other hand, has publicly resisted the idea, saying in recent weeks that he is concerned that AI is a “hoax” or a “scam.”

CNBC’s Ashley Capoot, Julia Boorstin and Mary Catherine Wellons contributed to this report.
