The 54,000-square-foot lounge will open Thursday in Terminal B at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston as part of a complete renovation of the facility that includes 22 gates for mainline aircraft.
The airport has more than 500 departures per day and is United’s primary connecting hub for flights to and from Latin America.

The new club can accommodate 800 people and features an outdoor terrace for watching airplanes, as well as two full-service bars and a buffet.
The lounge is part of United’s $2.6 billion investment in the airport’s Terminal B, and shows the airline is pouring money into more space for premium travel demand to attract a growing number of elite frequent fliers, co-branded credit card holders and customers willing to spend more to fly.
