Everything announced at Made by Google ’26: Pixel 11, Pixel Watch 5, Pixel Tag, and tons of Gemini features

Google is holding an event called “Made by Google 2026” on Wednesday, where it will announce the Pixel 11 series, Pixel Watch 5, and even a competitor to Apple’s AirTag. The tech giant also used the event to show off new features powered by Gemini on its devices.

Gemini gets even better on Pixel

Google spent much of the event talking about Gemini and other AI features coming to its devices.

One of the most notable accessibility updates is the expansion of “Live Transcribe” to support American Sign Language. The Pixel camera allows users to translate sign language into text, giving them another way to communicate without relying on typing.

Google also introduced Rambler, a new voice input feature designed to better understand how people actually speak. Rather than requiring carefully worded sentences, Rambler is designed to handle run-on sentences, fillers, and less structured speech while understanding what the user is trying to say.

There are also some small additions. Circle to Search is now more directly accessible from Pixel cameras, allowing users to identify objects, search for things in the distance, translate text, and ask questions about what’s around them without leaving the camera experience.

The standard Pixel 11 features a redesigned camera bar that is thinner than the previous generation’s camera bar. Google says the new camera bar is more than 40% thinner and now uses an all-glass surface that spans the entire width of the phone. Google has also increased base storage to 256 GB, double the previous starting capacity.

The new model’s starting price is set at $899, an increase of $100 compared to the Pixel 10. This price increase follows the decision to discontinue the 128GB storage option. Additionally, the ongoing RAM shortage is also contributing to this increase.

Pixel 11 will be available in Frost, Hibiscus, Pistachio, and Obsidian.

Google has made durability a big part of its Pro lineup. The company says the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL have improved drop resistance and a new anti-scratch display coating that makes them more than twice as scratch resistant as the Pixel 10 Pro model.

The Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099, while the Pixel 10 Pro costs $999.

The phones are available from Canyon, Fog, Olive, and Obsidian. Notably, this year’s Obsidian option has an all-matte finish.

Pixel 11 Pro folding

Google says the new foldable model is nearly 10% lighter and nearly 1mm thinner than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. It also features slimmer bezels, a 48-megapixel main camera, and a 30x superzoom.

The company has also enhanced the IP68 water and dust resistance introduced with the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Pixel 11 Pro Fold uses a fiberglass composite back cover designed to be more resistant to cracking, and a redesigned hinge provides added protection for the internal display. Google says the changes make this model three times more durable than previous models.

Pixel 11 Pro Fold comes in Olive and Obsidian.

Google targets Apple’s AirTag

Google has finally introduced its own tracking tag. The small device, called Pixel Tag, is designed to help people monitor things like keys, wallets, and luggage. It connects to Android’s Find Hub network and allows users to locate tags through the Find Hub app (similar to Apple’s Find My).

This tag costs $29 ($99 for a 4-pack) and can also be found on Pixel Watch. Pixel Buds users can ask Gemini to find or ring their Pixel Tag, adding voice control options for tracking things.

Pixel Watch 5 comes with several health-related updates. The Google Health app provides a monthly summary of blood pressure trends aimed at helping users notice patterns over time. It also provides a monthly summary of insulin resistance trends.

The 41mm Pixel Watch 5 starts at $399, and the 45mm version starts at $429. Google also offers a Stephen Curry edition designed specifically for workouts for $579. (This is shown in the image above.)

Meanwhile, the Pixel Buds Pro comes in a new olive color.
