At its annual Made On YouTube event, YouTube announced new tools in YouTube Studio for the app’s creators to use to manage their channels. This is intended to help you analyze your videos and grow your audience. This update includes expansions of Ask Studio, an AI-powered Q&A feature, to iOS and Android, as well as new features to provide feedback on drafts and create dynamic thumbnails.
The Draft Feedback feature uses AI to examine creators’ unreleased videos and provide suggestions for pacing, structure, and storytelling. YouTube is also introducing a new Research Feed in the Studio app to show creators what kind of content is working on the platform and allow them to apply their own insights.
Creators are usually particular about the preview images and titles they use for their videos. The Studio app can now generate stylized thumbnails and titles based on your video’s content. Creators can also use the new dynamic thumbnail feature to generate three options, each of which can be shown to a different segment of the audience.

YouTube says creators have used its A/B testing feature to test titles and thumbnails more than 40 million times. The company says users will soon be able to test up to three video cuts to see which opening hook works best. Later this year, YouTube Studio will also automatically monitor thumbnail performance and proactively change thumbnails if they’re underperforming.
YouTube also said it will update its analysis beyond the raw numbers to explain why videos perform the way they do and offer advice on how to make your content more engaging.

In addition to the Studio app revamp, YouTube is also introducing other tools for creators, including short videos and conversation editing in the YouTube Create app.
