Strikes and attacks continued across the Middle East on Wednesday morning as the escalating conflict entered its fifth day.

Here’s what we’re seeing:

Iran: Iranian state media reported explosions in several parts of the country, including west of the capital Tehran, as the Israeli military announced it had launched a new “widespread” offensive against the country. Israel said the attack hit “the Basij and internal security command center.” Photos geolocated by CNN show large plumes of black smoke rising near the Iranian city of Isfahan.

Israel: Israeli air defense forces were working to intercept a missile fired from Iran, the military announced. The Israeli military also announced that it had detected several rockets from Lebanon in the north and intercepted most of them. A medical response group said there had been a “fall” in Beit Shemesh, near Jerusalem. It is unclear whether the projectile was a rocket or debris from the interception.

Lebanon: At least six people were killed in an airstrike in Alamun, south of the capital Beirut, the country’s health ministry announced. Another airstrike hit a house in Baalbek, killing at least five people, state media said. Israel ordered the evacuation of more than a dozen villages and towns in Lebanon, warning that an attack was imminent.

Qatar: The Ministry of Defense announced that an Iranian ballistic missile struck Al Udeid Air Base, the largest US military facility in the Middle East, but there were no casualties.

Saudi Arabia: The Ministry of Defense announced that Saudi Arabia intercepted and destroyed two cruise missiles near the city of Al-Khalj. According to state media, Saudi Arabia also intercepted and destroyed nine unmanned aircraft that entered its airspace.

Kuwait: The Ministry of Health says an 11-year-old girl was killed “after debris fell in a residential area.” According to the Defense Ministry, troops intercepted “several hostile air targets” and debris fell on houses, causing injuries, state media reported.

United Arab Emirates: A ship was hit by an “unknown projectile” off the coast of Fujairah, the British Maritime Trade Commission announced. UKMTO said it was the latest vessel to be struck in and around the Persian Gulf, and there was no major damage to the vessel.
