Middle Eastern countries reported new attacks and interceptions early Wednesday morning local time.

Iran: Israel announced it had launched a new wave of attacks in Tehran early Wednesday morning. Video geolocated by CNN shows the explosion coming from the direction of Tehran’s Mehrabad International Airport. The Iranian Red Crescent also announced early Wednesday morning that it was responding to airstrikes on residential areas of the capital. Footage released by Iran’s state-run Islamic Republic News Agency on Wednesday shows what appears to be the missile being fired.

Sirens were sounded in central Israel on Wednesday morning after the Israel Defense Forces warned of missile launches from Iran. No injuries were reported. Earlier, Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards said it had carried out “multilayered and sustained waves” against targets in Israel.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday morning that it had intercepted and destroyed two drones in the eastern part of the country, the heart of the country’s oil and gas industry. Earlier, it was announced that six ballistic missiles headed for Prince Sultan Air Base were intercepted.

The United Arab Emirates warned residents to stay safe and the Ministry of Defense said its air defense forces were “responding to missile and drone threats from Iran.” UKMTO announced that a container ship was damaged by an object believed to be a projectile off the coast of the United Arab Emirates.

Sirens rang out in Bahrain, and the interior ministry urged residents to head to the nearest safe location.

Iraq: Iran continues to target U.S. military and diplomatic facilities in Erbil, in Iraq’s Kurdistan region. Earlier Tuesday, a drone believed to be Iranian struck a U.S. diplomatic facility near Baghdad airport, two sources familiar with the matter told CNN.

Lebanon: Israel says it has launched a wave of attacks on the southern outskirts of the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

Kuwait’s National Guard announced on Wednesday morning that it had shot down eight drones within its territory.

QATAR: CNN reporters in Doha heard loud noises over the city Wednesday morning that were loud enough to shake buildings.
