According to CNN, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning to return to the UK.
The Telegraph reports that Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are planning to move from the United States to a private residence on the outskirts of London later this month, and have enrolled their children Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, at a British school next term.
King Charles was first informed of the relocation plans on Sunday, indicating the matter was not raised or discussed during the couple’s visit to the UK in July. CNN understands that the king would welcome the opportunity to meet more of the Sussexes in a private and personal capacity.

The couple, who currently live in California, left the UK for North America in 2020 after stepping back from royal life and have been part of a public feud with the royal family ever since. Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan cited tabloid intrusion, racism in British institutions, online abuse and complicated family relationships as reasons for their departure.
Prince Harry has visited the UK several times, including for the funeral of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II in 2022 and the coronation of his father Charles III the following year.

Prince Harry’s visit in July was for several charities, including the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games, a Paralympic-style sports competition for injured servicemen and veterans that Prince Harry launched more than a decade ago.
