The Internal Revenue Service has hired Joseph Verri as a senior advisor to CEO Frank Bisignano to help manage the Trump account, according to an email Bisignano sent to IRS executives first shared by CNBC.

The Trump Account is a new tax-deferred investment vehicle for children under 18 for retirement and building long-term wealth. Children born between 2025 and 2028 can receive a one-time deposit of $1,000 from the U.S. Treasury.
The Trump account is one of the administration’s top economic priorities.
