Caroline Dubois will defend her WBC world lightweight title on the undercard of the fight between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul in Miami.

After signing with Paul’s promotional company, MVP, Dubois will have his first fight under their banner on the undercard of the Dec. 19 event, which will pit Joshua against YouTube star-turned-pro boxer Box.

Dubois will defend his lightweight world title against Italy’s Camila Panatta at the Caseya Center in Miami.

“Signing with MVP is the next step in my career. I’m proud to be on their roster. I believe they will help me in my quest for greatness,” Dubois said.

“My mission will be to become the face of women’s boxing.”

Dubois was a great amateur who never lost as a youth or junior player. She won gold medals at the World Youth Championships and the Youth Olympics. She qualified for the Tokyo Olympics and then rose through the professional ranks.

She won the WBC interim lightweight title last year by defeating Mayra Moneo. After relinquishing the title, Dubois was promoted to WBC lightweight world champion in December 2024.

The 24-year-old southpaw successfully retained his title in 2025, most recently scoring a majority decision victory over Bo Mi Lesin at the Royal Albert Hall in March.

With an undefeated record and growing star power, Dubois has his sights set on unifying world titles in the future.

Most Valuable Promotions co-founders Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidalyan said: “She is a champion, an Olympian and a rising star in the UK and abroad who will make her MVP debut on Friday December 19th when she joins us on the Jake vs. Joshua card stacked in his third world title defense.”

“As existing and new boxing promoters compete for the belt, MVP’s focus on women’s boxing is driven by creating a global brand with the largest roster of elite fighters and offering products worthy of arguably the best athletes in the sport.

“Adding an undefeated world champion like Caroline is another key element of that vision. She will join Britain’s elite squad and we look forward to providing her with the opportunity to continue her development at the MVP event in the UK in early 2026.”

An Italian southpaw, Panatta combines sharp European technique with the pressure and resilience he developed through extensive training and fighting in Mexico. That experience has strengthened her body attack, inside interactions, and overall work rate, all of which have become defining elements of her approach in the ring.

Panatta was selected as Taylor’s primary sparring partner during Taylor’s high-profile camp for the Amanda Serrano megafight, which included the historic Madison Square Garden bout with undisputed champion Katie Taylor. Serving as Taylor’s first choice across multiple factions reflects Panatta’s technical quality, toughness and ability to accurately reflect his elite style. These camps also provided important insight into championship-level preparation.

“This fight is not just about me,” Panatta said of Dubois. “This is the moment when my whole story finds meaning. This is the opportunity of my life.”
