Manchester United transfer: Summer plans revealed, with Lewis Hall, Iliman Ndiaye and Yan Diomande among targets | Soccer News

Lewis Hall, Yann Diomande and Iliman Ndiayi are among the names Manchester United are considering strengthening ahead of their return to European competition next season.

An ideal summer window would include signing at least two midfielders, but Brighton’s Carlos Baleva remains a target after a move to Old Trafford failed to materialize last summer, while Nottingham Forest’s Elliott Anderson is also high on United’s list of targets.

Brighton were always adamant that they would demand a huge transfer fee for Baleva. However, his poor performances this season may have affected his value, which could work in United’s favor.

Clubs will look to secure early signings, as United did with the signing of Matheus Cunha last summer. United are aware that the World Cup will have an impact on all business this summer. The 22-year-old is therefore an ideal target to sign as soon as possible, as Cameroon is not participating in this competition.

Anderson is seen as the “ideal” number eight to break into United’s squad, but is expected to face stiff competition from Manchester City.

As previously reported, Wolves’ Joao Gomez is another potential target and could be a cheaper option to strengthen Wolves, who are likely to be relegated. Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton is also a name under consideration.

There is a common understanding that United will prioritize increasing their midfield options with Casemiro leaving this summer, but the Old Trafford side also want to strengthen their left wing and left-back options.

Let’s take a look at all the reasons why Yann Diomande is attracting attention from clubs around the world.

RB Leipzig forward Diomande is high on United’s list of left-wing targets ahead of the summer transfer window. He is understood to fit the profile of a right-handed left-winger and, at just 19 years old, has huge potential.

Diomande had an excellent season in the Bundesliga, scoring 10 goals and providing seven assists for Leipzig as they aim to qualify for the Champions League.

United could make a move at the start of the summer as the Ivory Coast international is in high demand, with Diomande understood to be in high demand from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Yliman Ndiayi’s performance gave Everton a 3-0 victory over Chelsea in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Everton’s Ndiaye is also a player United are keeping an eye on in this position. The 26-year-old scored in Everton’s 3-0 win over Chelsea last weekend, continuing his impressive season under manager David Moyes.

The club is interested in Eintracht Frankfurt’s Nathaniel Braun as a full-back. The 22-year-old German international has scored four goals and provided four assists in the Bundesliga this season.

Newcastle United’s Hall is also on their radar after an impressive season that saw him take part in Thomas Tuchel’s final England camp in the run-up to the World Cup.

United’s current option, left-back Luke Shaw, has been active in the Premier League this season and is under contract until the summer of 2027. Tyrell Malasia is expected to leave the club when his contract expires in the summer.
