Chelsea draw with Leeds United in the FA Cup semi-finals, while Manchester City will face Championship side Southampton.

Leeds beat West Ham in a dramatic penalty shootout to book their place in the FA Cup semi-finals for the first time in 39 years and will face Chelsea at Wembley after defeating League One side Port Vale 7-0.

Manchester City, who defeated Liverpool 4-0 to advance to the last four for the eighth consecutive season, will face Southampton, who are aiming for promotion after defeating Premier League leaders Arsenal 2-1 at St. Mary’s.

Southampton’s reward for defeating Arsenal is a semi-final against Man City.

The semi-final match will be held at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 25th April or Sunday 26th April.

It’s been 50 years since they last won the FA Cup, and if Southampton are to repeat their 1976 success they must stop City from reaching the final for the fourth successive season.

Seven-time champions City last won the FA Cup in 2023, but have lost the last two finals to Crystal Palace and Manchester United.

Eight-time champions Chelsea have not won the FA Cup since 2018 but will face their opponents from the 1970 final at Leeds. In the rematched contest, the Londoners came out on top.

Leeds bounced back from defeat in the final to win the FA Cup in 1972, but have not progressed beyond the semi-finals since 1987.

What does the match between the FA Cup semi-finalists mean?
