Watch Max Verstappen return to the Nordschleife on Saturday from 4pm as he continues his preparations for May’s Nurburgring 24 Hours in a double-header of the German circuit’s endurance series.
With F1 off the track in April due to the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabia GPs, Verstappen has added NLS4 and NLS5 races to his growing GT3 schedule.
He will team up with experienced endurance driver Lukas Auer, nephew of former F1 driver Gerhard Berger, in Verstappen Racing’s Red Bull-spec Mercedes-AMG GT3 car, in a field of 37 GT3s in the latest round of the Nürburgring Langstäcken Serie ‘Green Hell’.
Watch live streams of both 4-hour races over the weekend on skysports.com and the Sky Sports app.
Saturday’s stream starts at 4:00 PM (4:30 PM race start) and Sunday’s stream starts at 11:30 AM (12:00 PM race start). All UK time.
This will be the third and fourth time that four-time F1 world champion Verstappen will compete in the NLS in a GT3 machine.
He won his debut race last September in a Ferrari 296 GT3 car he shared with Britain’s Chris Rooram.
Verstappen and his teammate, this time driving a Mercedes, finished first again in Verstappen’s return to NLS action last month, but he was later disqualified after the team exceeded the allowed tire distribution.
F1 will resume with the second sprint weekend of the season, the Miami Grand Prix, from May 1-3, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports F1. Stream Sky Sports now – cancel anytime with no contract
