Sky Sports will make all 12 group matches involving England, Scotland and Ireland, as well as the semi-finals and final of the 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, available to watch for free on the Sky Sports app.
Everyone will be able to stream all three Home Country group games via the app without a subscription, while the first match and final of the tournament will also be broadcast free on Sky Mix.
In addition, the tournament opener between England and Sri Lanka at Edgbaston on June 12 will be broadcast across Sky One, Sky Sports’ YouTube channel and Sky Sports’ linear channels.
These measures will ensure that as many spectators as possible can attend the tournament, which concludes with the final at Lord’s on Sunday 5 July.

The Women’s T20 World Cup kicks off a great summer of women’s cricket on Sky Sports. These include the historic first women’s Test match, England vs. India, to be played at Lord’s from July 10, with The Hundred returning later that month.
Jonathan Licht, Sky’s Chief Sporting Officer for Great Britain and Ireland, said: “We believe this summer will be a defining moment for women’s cricket.”
“By making many matches of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup available to everyone, we can reach new audiences, build fandom and inspire the next generation.
“At Sky Sports, we don’t just broadcast women’s sport, we are partners in its growth, working with the ICC and the ECB to make this moment as impactful as possible.”
Sanjog Gupta, CEO of the International Cricket Council, said: “The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup ranks as the pinnacle event in world sport and is an important fan-building opportunity for women’s cricket.”
“This is a significant step by our UK partner Sky Sports and is in line with our strategy to extend fan access beyond screens and stadiums.
“Britain has a proud cricket tradition and moments like this, where everyone can access our sport on any screen, are how we raise awareness, deepen affinity, nurture the next generation of fans and ensure women’s cricket takes its rightful place in the national and global sporting conversation.”
Beth Barrett-Wild, tournament director, said: “The 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is set to bring world-class players, great performances and unmissable moments to the glorious venues of England and Wales, and we couldn’t be happier that even more people will be able to experience the spectacle live through this extensive Sky Sports coverage plan.”
“With so many big matches available for all to watch, including the opening match at Edgbaston on June 12th and the final at Lord’s on July 5th, the stage is set for a great World Cup where battles will be fought, names will be written and new fans will be hooked on women’s cricket forever.”
