Brighton came from behind to beat title-chasing Manchester City 3-2 in the Women’s Super League, with Maddison Haley scoring twice.
City had the upper hand after taking an early lead from Kerorin, but against the flow of the game, American forward Haley scored the equalizer in first-half stoppage time.
Kiko Seike put Brighton in the lead immediately after the restart before Hayley scored her second goal and Khadijah Shaw pulled one back late on to set the stage for a grandstand finish, but City fell to their third league defeat of the season.
Andrii Jegrats’ side were hoping to close in on their first WSL title since 2016, but third-placed Arsenal still need five points with two games left to play.
