Stevie McKenna has signed a long-term contract with Zuffa Boxing and is set to return live on Sky Sports on June 6th.
Zuffa Boxing 07 at the Bournemouth International Center will be headlined by Chris Billam-Smith vs. Ryan Rozicki, with McKenna taking on American veteran Casey James Streeter.
Irish candidate McKenna is always exciting to watch. He fought a thrilling battle in England in 2024. In a three-round fight with Joe Laws, McKenna hit the canvas, but dropped Laws a total of four times to ultimately win.
In another epic bout, he defeated Lee Cutler by majority decision over 10 rounds in Liverpool.
Rivals McKenna and Cutler will both compete in separate bouts on June 6 in Cutler’s hometown of Bournemouth.
The loss to Cutler in this all-action masterpiece was the only defeat McKenna suffered in his professional career.
McKenna excelled as an amateur, winning gold at the Haringey Box Cup and Commonwealth Youth Games before turning professional in 2019.
Before meeting Cutler, he had a 15-fight winning streak, 14 of which came within range.
He has recorded 11 of his knockouts in three rounds or less.
Streeter’s opponent on June 6th has a record of 15 wins, 3 losses, and 2 draws (6). Main Streeter, from Portland, made his British debut following a stoppage loss to Leo Lewis at Zuffa Boxing 03.
Zuffa Boxing 07 will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland. As well as a fight between Bournemouth’s local hero Billam Smith and Canadian KO artist Rozicki, the all-British chief support will pit long-time cruiserweight challengers Jack Massey and Chevon Clarke against each other.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased from BIC.co.uk.
