Cambodia accused Thailand of continuing to drop bombs on its territory, hours after US President Donald Trump announced that Bangkok and Phnom Penh had agreed to cease fighting.

“On December 13, 2025, the Thai military used two F-16 fighter jets to drop seven bombs on numerous targets,” the Cambodian Ministry of Defense said in a social media post on Saturday.

“The Thai military has not yet stopped its bombing and continues to bomb,” the ministry said, citing early morning air attacks on hotel buildings and bridges.

On Friday, reports of continued bombings followed President Trump’s announcement that Thailand and Cambodia had agreed to “cease all shootings.”

“I had a very nice conversation this morning with Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet about the resumption of a very unfortunate and long-running war,” Trump said on his Truth social platform.

“They have agreed to cease all shooting from tonight and return to the original peace agreement that I and they made with the support of Malaysia’s great Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim,” he said.

This is breaking news. It will continue soon.
