President Trump poses with ‘Make Iran Great Again’ hat after Maduro abduction | Donald Trump News

The US president reiterated his threat to attack Iran “very harshly” if Iranian security forces kill anti-government protesters.

US Sen. Lindsey Graham has shared a photo of President Donald Trump wearing a signed hat that reads “Make Iran Great Again,” stoking concerns about the possibility of another war with Iran.

Graham, a Trump ally and foreign policy hawk, posted the photo to X on Monday, saying Trump had made America stronger at home and abroad.

“God bless our commander-in-chief and all the brave men and women who serve under him,” the Republican senators wrote.

“I am proud to be an American. God bless and protect the brave people of Iran who stand against tyranny.”

The hat is a reuse of President Trump’s motto, “Make America Great Again,” and appears to be a nod to regime change in Iran.

The photo was released as President Trump continues to threaten Iran after U.S. forces abducted Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, an ally of Tehran.

The photo was taken late Sunday while Mr. Graham was traveling with Mr. Trump aboard Air Force One from Florida to Washington, D.C.

Graham previously advocated for the overthrow of the Iranian government in an interview wearing the same hat.

The senator said President Trump “has not turned his back on the Iranian people” amid sporadic anti-government protests across the country.

“So I pray and hope that 2026 is the year that makes Iran great again,” Graham told Fox News while tipping his hat. The hat also features the Iranian flag, which dates back to before the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

On Sunday, President Trump reiterated his warning that the United States would intervene militarily against the Iranian government if security forces killed protesters.

“If they start killing people like they have in the past, they will be hit very hard by America,” the American president told reporters.

US foreign policy hawks, who claim to be defenders of Iranians protesting against their government, support Israel’s June attack on the country that killed hundreds of civilians.

Iranian officials dismissed President Trump’s threats and warned that they would counter any U.S. attack on Iran.

After President Maduro was detained in Caracas, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei wrote to X: “We will not bow to our enemies.” “We will bring the enemy to his knees.”

In June, the United States joined Israel in its attack on Iran, bombing three of the country’s major nuclear facilities. Iran retaliated by firing a missile at a US air base in Doha, causing damage to the base without causing any casualties.

A ceasefire was established shortly after the Iranian attack.

But President Trump last week threatened to resume war if Iran attempts to develop a nuclear program or rebuild its missile force.

“Now we’re hearing that Iran is trying to rise again, and if that’s the case, we’re going to have to defeat Iran,” Trump said. “We’re going to beat the crap out of them. We’re going to beat the hell out of them.”

Speculation is mounting that Iran could be President Trump’s next target following the brazen US operation in Venezuela.
