Canada’s Prime Minister outlines plans to strengthen relations with the EU.
Canada’s prime minister is turning to the European Union as U.S. President Donald Trump’s threats and tariffs force Ottawa to look for other allies and markets.
Mark Carney told the European Parliament that a closer relationship with the EU will ensure that no one can control Canada’s markets or undermine its sovereignty.
