On February 15, 2024, at Google France headquarters in Paris, France, Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google and Alphabet, attended the inauguration ceremony of a new French center specializing in the field of artificial intelligence.

alphabet is scheduled to announce its fourth quarter results after the bell on Wednesday afternoon.

Here are the forecasts of analysts surveyed by LSEG:

Earnings per share: $2.63 Revenue: $111.43 billion

Wall Street is also keeping an eye on several other numbers in the report. Here are predictions from analysts surveyed by StreetAccount.

Google Cloud: $16.18 billion YouTube Ads: $11.84 billion Traffic acquisition cost: $16.2 billion

Alphabet’s latest results will be a test of how far the company can garner support from Wall Street.

One of the Street’s top performers in 2025, Alphabet’s stock is up more than 70% in the past six months. Last month, Google became the fourth member of the $4 trillion club, joining Nvidia, Microsoft, and Apple as other companies to reach that milestone.

Wall Street will be looking for more details about Google’s recently announced deal to modernize Apple’s AI capabilities, including its Siri virtual assistant, with the search company’s Gemini artificial intelligence model. This deal is one of Gemini’s most notable to date, given the size of Apple’s user base, which boasts 2.5 billion active devices.

During the fourth quarter, Google made a number of notable announcements.

In November, the company launched the Gemini 3 model, which received high praise. Google also released a 7th generation tensor processing unit called Ironwood. Alphabet’s self-driving car division Waymo also began opening robotaxi routes on highways in three major U.S. cities, a major milestone for the ride-hailing company.

CNBC reported in November that Google’s head of AI infrastructure, Amin Vahdat, told employees that the company needed to double its service delivery capacity every six months to meet demand for AI services.

“Competition in AI infrastructure is the most important and most expensive part of the AI race,” Vahadat said.

In December, Alphabet agreed to acquire data center company Intersect for $4.75 billion in cash and assumed debt.

Since the beginning of this year, Alphabet has made other AI announcements in addition to the Apple deal. Wednesday’s earnings will be Alphabet’s first chance to give investors exposure to what it’s announcing.

In January, the company launched an AI feature called “Personal Intelligence,” which combines information from apps like Gmail and Google Photos to provide users with personalized answers through its Gemini chatbot. Google also announced a protocol for AI shopping agents called the Universal Commerce Protocol, as it looks to secure its position in AI-powered commerce, which is emerging as one of the major battlegrounds for consumer and business AI.

As part of the licensing agreement, Google DeepMind will reportedly bring in the CEO and several top engineers from AI voice startup Hume AI and use them to improve Gemini’s voice capabilities.

Google also filed an appeal against a federal judge’s ruling that it had an illegal monopoly on Internet search, its core market. The appeal could delay relief for the company while the legal process continues.

Waymo began operating its service in Miami in January.

Earlier this week, Waymo announced it had raised a $16 billion funding round, valuing the company at $126 billion. By the end of 2025, the company has serviced 15 million trips in five major U.S. markets, including Austin, Texas, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Phoenix and the San Francisco Bay Area.
