Jim Cramer’s CNBC Investment Club hosts a “Morning Meeting” livestream every weekday at 10:20 a.m. ET. Here’s a recap of Tuesday’s big moments. 1. Investors continued trading out of many major semiconductor stocks on Tuesday. Defensive areas of the market benefited, including club name Procter & Gamble, which announced earnings Wednesday morning. It rose nearly 2%. The NASDAQ remained flat, but the S&P 500 rose slightly. Looking ahead, Microsoft, Metaplatform, and Starbucks, which own the club, are all scheduled to report Wednesday night. Microsoft and Meta’s capital spending plans will be a big focus after Alphabet’s post-earnings selloff last week. Starbucks wants to see more signs that CEO Brian Nicol’s turnaround is gaining momentum and that management is prioritizing profitability. 2. Jim Cramer urged investors to remain cautious about some AI infrastructure names after a massive rally earlier this year. He said the club was right to cut Corning multiple times in June when the stock price soared. Corning stock has fallen more than 50% from its June 29 all-time high. “Parabolic movement has to sell,” Jim said. “Parabolic movements go up and then come down faster. … They don’t stop where they started.” Jim said that despite Corning’s strong quarter, the stock is still too volatile to buy back Tuesday’s 15% drop. Corning’s price action also made Jim question whether it made enough money on another data center winner, GE Bellnova. GE Vernova is down about 20% from its record closing price on June 30th. 3. Despite the widespread decline in the tech company’s share price, Jim said he would continue to buy Inter “on the decline” unless restricted by the club’s trading rules. He said he remains confident in the company’s foundry, advanced packaging and central processing unit (CPU) businesses. Jim said Boeing remains attractive after the company reported stronger-than-expected cash flow, supporting the turnaround narrative. “I think you can still buy a Boeing here,” he said. “I think Boeing is planning a move over the next few months.” 4. Stocks featured at the end of Tuesday’s video were Johnson & Johnson, Sherwin-Williams, Nucor, ExxonMobil, and Nvidia. (Jim Cramer’s Charitable Trust is long PG, MSFT, META, SBUX, GOOGL, GEV, GLW, INTC, JNJ, NVDA. See here for a complete list of stocks.) As a subscriber to Jim Cramer’s CNBC Investing Club, you will receive trade alerts before Jim makes a trade. After Jim sends a trade alert, he waits 45 minutes before buying or selling stocks in his charitable trust’s portfolio. If Jim talks about a stock on CNBC TV, he will issue a trade alert and then wait 72 hours before executing the trade.
