Analysts surveyed by CNBC and StreetAccount expect Azure to grow 40% and 40.2% excluding currency effects.
Investors will be watching to see if Microsoft raises its outlook for capital spending and financing leases for data center expansion. alphabet last week raised its 2026 range by $15 billion. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha had a $190.5 billion target for Microsoft, slightly higher than the $190 billion forecast in April.
During the quarter, Microsoft introduced a cost-effective AI coding model, named LinkedIn executive Dan Shapero to take over its business social network, and lowered Xbox Game Pass subscription prices.
Executives are scheduled to discuss the results with analysts and provide guidance on a conference call beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET.
