TSMC’s September sales increased by more than 50% compared to the previous year

The world’s largest contract chip manufacturer Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Sales in September were NT$511.86 billion ($16.03 billion), an increase of 54.6% year-on-year, but a decrease of 0.6% in August.

Third quarter sales were approximately NT$1.49 trillion.

The company closed down 1.35% ahead of the release of its monthly data.

TSMC in September committed to using ASML’s high NA extreme ultraviolet lithography equipment, a key technology for making more advanced chips, joining Samsung Electronics among customers adopting the technology.
