Memory and data storage stocks soar SanDisk rose 27% on Tuesday, hitting a new all-time high. Western Digital rose about 17% to a new all-time high. Micron rose 10% to a new all-time high. Seagate also rose 14%, hitting a new all-time high. Mad Money’s Jim Cramer said these companies are soaring because a combination of intense panic buying and a short squeeze “leads to a shortage of machinery to make memory chips.” Watch The Big Show’s premarket follow-through starting at 5 a.m. ET on Frank Holland’s “Worldwide Exchange.” Set your alarm now. Past Day SNDK 1D Mountain SanDisk ADP Jobs Report December ADP job numbers will be announced at 8:15 a.m. on “Squawk Box” with Becky Quick, Andrew Ross Sorkin, and Joe Kernen. They will know the numbers and the market reaction. Economists polled by Dow Jones expect an increase of 48,000 jobs. Albertsons has gained 1.85% over the past three months on Squawk Box’s early morning earnings report. The stock is down 26% from its April high. Carmaine Foods has fallen about 15% in three months. The egg producer is down 37% from its July high. CALM 3M Mountain for the Past 3 Months Calmaine Foods Goldman Sachs Energy, Clean Technology, and Utilities Conference CNBC TV’s Brian Sullivan will be attending the conference, Energy Secretary Chris Wright is scheduled to speak, and there’s a lot on the agenda. Both West Texas Intermediate and Brent crude oil are down about 0.5% since Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro was arrested by the U.S. military. Chevron is up 0.4% in two days. The stock is down 7% from its March high. ExxonMobil fell 1.3% in two days. It is down 4% from its January 5th high. SLB rose 8.5% in two days. The stock is down 3.4% from its January 5th high. Weekly Mortgage App CNBC TV real estate reporter Diana Orrick will be reporting the news at 7 a.m. Check CNBC.com for the latest information. So far in 2026, big names like Hovnanian, Toll Brothers, DR Horton, Lennar, PulteGroup, and Taylor Morrison have all appeared. But all but one are down double digits from their September highs. The exception was Toll Brothers, which is down 9% from its high. Pulte has fallen 15% from its high. Taylor Morrison is down 18.5% from its high. DR Horton is down 22% from its high. Renner is 26% off his high. Hovnanian is 38% off the high.
