Interview with President Donald Trump by CNBC TV’s Joe Kernen The interview will air on “Fast Money” at 5 p.m. ET. The commemoration is the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America. Employment Statistics Key monthly payroll reports are typically released on Fridays. This time, because it’s Independence Day, the numbers will be announced at 8:30 a.m. Thursday. The results will be presented live on “Squawk Box” with Becky Quick, Andrew Ross Sorkin and Joe Kernen. A Dow Jones survey of economists predicts that 115,000 new jobs will be created in June. Unemployment Insurance Claims The first unemployment insurance claims of each week are obtained at 8:30 a.m. on the “Squawk Box.” The Dow Jones consensus forecast is 220,000. The week before that, the result was 215,000. Parabolic 7 Becky Quick of “Squawk Box” was paying attention to these seven big names. Although everything fell on Wednesday, the three-month performance has been parabolic. Advanced Micro Devices is up 157% in three months, but fell nearly 7% during the session. Dell is up 151% in three months. Shares fell 1.4% on Wednesday. Broadcom is up about 18% in three months. The stock fell 2.2% during trading hours. Intel is up 164% in three months. It fell 9% on Wednesday. Micron is up about 181% in three months. The stock fell 10.6% in trading. Marvel is up 155% in three months. It fell 8.7% on Wednesday. SanDisk is up 193% in three months. Shares fell 10.6% during trading. All of these performances are significantly better than the Nasdaq 100. Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ), which follows this index, is up 24% in three months. That’s not too bad, but it fell 1.5% on Wednesday. On Thursday mornings, Morgan Brennan’s Wake Up Call covers the technology beat. It will be broadcast live at 5am. SNDK 3M Mountain SanDisk Meta Platform Over the Past 3 Months We will continue to monitor the stock price after Wednesday’s nearly 9% rally. Shares rose on news that Meta is building a new cloud business. CNBC confirmed that the company plans to sell excess computing power. Bloomberg first reported the news.
