AMD stock is up nearly 4%, while Microsoft’s is up less than 1%. IREN — Shares of the data center operator rose more than 17% after it raised its year-end AI Cloud annual run-rate revenue target from $3.7 billion to more than $4 billion after winning a new $2.8 billion multi-year contract. The company said approximately 85% of AI Cloud’s annual run-rate revenue at the end of the year was under contract. Imax , AMC Entertainment , Cinemark — Movie theater stocks rose on Monday on the back of a strong opening weekend for “The Odyssey” and strong second-quarter results for AMC. The Christopher Nolan film grossed $264.1 million in ticket sales worldwide. The film was the first in history to be shot entirely in IMAX 70mm, giving moviegoers the opportunity to watch it on IMAX screens. According to IMAX, the film grossed $52 million at the global box office over the weekend. Cava shares fell 5% on Monday, taking July’s losses to more than 16%. SpaceX — Shares fell 1% to a new low even as the rocket maker announced the next launch of its Starship rocket would take place on Thursday. The previous launch was canceled last week due to engine problems. The total agreement is $9.8 billion.
