Weekly Unemployment Claims The first weekly unemployment claim deadline is 8:30 a.m. ET. This number will be live streamed on “Squawk Box”. The consensus is 212,000 people. Of the traders who follow this on the prediction market Karshi, 30% think the number will exceed 210,000. Only 17% thought it would exceed 215,000. Get the real numbers on “Squawk Box” Thursday mornings. Earnings report streamed live on ‘Squawk Box’ American Airlines is up about 29% in three months. The stock is down 21% from its July 2 high. CNBC’s Phil LeBeau will have the numbers and stock reaction. CEO Robert Isom will appear live on “Squawk Box” starting at 7 a.m. Blackstone has fallen 5.3% in three months. The stock is down 35% from its September 2025 high. John Gray, president and chief operating officer (COO), will appear live on “Squawk Box” starting at 8 a.m. CNBC’s Leslie Picker covers the company and will have more details throughout the day. Lockheed Martin reports that CNBC’s Morgan Brennan will interview the company around 6:30 a.m. to learn about the numbers and stock price reaction. The stock price fell 7% in three months. The stock is down 25% from its March high. AAL 3M Mountain American Airlines’ earnings report for the past three months will be streamed live on “Closing Bell: Overtime” starting at 4 p.m. Intel is up 57% in three months. The stock price fell about 27% in July. CNBC’s new partner StockStory had this to say about Intel this week: “Analysts covering the company have largely reaffirmed their forecasts over the past 30 days, suggesting they expect earnings to continue on an upward trend. Intel rarely misses Wall Street’s earnings estimates.” Implied volatility is high at 12% on Thursday. Implied volatility measures how much the market expects a stock’s price to change based on option pricing, but it does not predict whether the price will go up or down. Alphabet Follow up on Alphabet’s quarterly results on “Wake Up Call” with Morgan Brennan on Thursdays at 5 a.m. Shares were down 3% after hours. Alphabet hit its all-time high on May 18, but has fallen 16% since then. The company exceeded sales expectations for the second quarter, but adjusted earnings per share fell short of expectations. Alphabet has reported plans for significant capital spending to keep up in the AI race. Over the past three months, GOOGL 3M Mountain Alphabet Stock Tesla stock has fallen 4% after hours. Tesla is down about 17% year to date in 2026. Elon Musk’s electric car company beat revenue estimates for its latest quarter, but missed earnings per share.
