Check out the companies making the biggest premarket moves: Intel — The chipmaker rose 4% after reporting its steepest quarterly sales growth in nearly 15 years. The company’s revenue for the second quarter was $16.1 billion, an increase of 25% from the same period last year. Adjusted earnings per share of 42 cents also beat analyst expectations. Deckers Outdoor – The shoe maker fell 3%. First-quarter revenue was $1.02 billion, in line with LSEG consensus estimates. Revenues from Deckers’ brands Hoka and Ugu fell short of Street expectations. Oracle — Shares rose nearly 3% after the company signed a 10-year software contract with the Department of Defense. The contract, valued at approximately $7 billion, covers the use of Oracle’s software in on-premises software for some branches of the U.S. military. Robert Half — Shares fell about 7% after the staffing and executive search firm reported disappointing second-quarter results. Robert Half earned 26 cents a share, in line with FactSet expectations. Revenue was $1.34 billion, slightly above consensus of $1.32 billion. Amkor Technology — The semiconductor packaging company soared more than 11% after the company announced it had signed a $1.5 billion multi-year deal with Nvidia. The agreement will explore the development of advanced semiconductor packaging and testing technologies for artificial intelligence. MaxLinear — Shares fell more than 9% even though the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter earnings and issued better-than-expected guidance for the quarter. Shares rose more than 400% in 2026 ahead of the company’s earnings report. Boston Beer – Maker of Twisted Tea added 1%. Second-quarter revenue of $568.3 million narrowly beat the FactSet consensus call of $566.7 million. Boston Beer also reaffirmed its full-year earnings outlook to $8.50 to $10.50 per share, compared to the consensus estimate of $9.38. Tenet Healthcare — The healthcare services company rose more than 16% after reporting adjusted earnings per share of $6.12 in its second-quarter financial report. Analysts polled by FactSet had expected earnings of $4.26 per share. Sales exceeded expectations, and the full-year outlook also exceeded expectations. American Express — Shares fell 3% after the credit card issuer reported a drop in revenue in the second quarter. American Express had sales of $19.64 billion, compared to analysts surveyed by LSEG who expected sales of $19.71 billion. However, profit for the quarter exceeded expectations. SAP — The German software company reported a 27% year-on-year increase in cloud order backlog to 22.9 billion euros in the second quarter, rising 5%. Sales were also 9.88 billion euros, slightly above LSEG’s forecast of 9.86 billion euros. SLB — The technology company rose 2% after second-quarter earnings and revenue beats. SLB said the quarter saw a return to year-over-year revenue growth as customers increased their focus on energy security and capacity expansion. Charter Communications — Shares fell more than 4% after the company reported lower-than-expected second-quarter adjusted EBITDA. Free cash flow was also lower than expected, but the company reaffirmed its capital expenditure outlook through fiscal 2029. Verizon Communications — The carrier rose 1% after a mixed earnings report.
