The S&P 500 ended lower on Friday, but U.S. stock futures were little changed Sunday night after three consecutive weeks of gains.

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were flat. S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq 100 futures rose 0.1% and 0.2%, respectively.

On Wall Street, the S&P 500 index has risen for the third straight week, hitting another all-time high last week after a big earnings season that boosted investor sentiment. Stock markets continue to rise on concerns over continued hostilities in the Middle East and trade in artificial intelligence.

“Investors seem increasingly accustomed to the current situation, and there are fewer and fewer stories to chew on for the bears,” Mark Hackett, chief market strategist at Nationwide, said on Friday. “The more tests the bulls pass, the more motivated they will be to push the stock market higher.”

The U.S. Federal Reserve will release its latest minutes on Wednesday, but investors have seen little momentum from events over the past week. Walmart’s financial results are scheduled to be released on Thursday, and the retailer’s profits are also up considerably. Home Depot and Lowe’s reported on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.

On the economic front, investors will focus on the Empire State Manufacturing Index for August and the NAHB Housing Market Index for August.
