Shopify — Shares of the Canadian-based commerce company rose nearly 4% after Bernstein began covering the stock and gave it an Outperform rating. Analysts set a price target of $160, implying a 26% upside from Thursday’s closing price, and noted that AI will augment rather than hurt the company’s performance. Skyworks Solutions — Shares rose more than 8% after the semiconductor company said at a Goldman Sachs conference that it expects its acquisition of Qorvo to close by the end of the year. Corvo stock rose 5%. Qualis — Cybersecurity stocks fell 6% after Wedbush was downgraded to neutral from outperform. The company said Qualis’ core business is facing significant pressure. GameStop — Shares of the video game retailer and meme stock rose nearly 3% after CEO Ryan Cohen said he bought 1 million shares at an average price of $20.375. Mr. Cohen currently owns 39,347,000 shares. As of Thursday’s close, the stock was valued at approximately $802.28 million. Oracle — The software giant’s stock price fell slightly after post-earnings stock gains stalled. Shares rose as much as 10% after Oracle announced adjusted earnings per share of $1.92 on revenue of $19.35 billion. Analysts polled by LSEG had expected earnings of $19.14 billion, or $1.74 per share. RH — The home furnishings retailer’s stock rose nearly 2%. RH’s second-quarter revenue was $922 million, beating LSEG’s consensus call of $915 million. Full-year sales guidance calls for growth in the range of 5.5% to 7%, while analysts had called for a 5.6% increase. NuScale Power — Shares of the small modular nuclear reactor designer fell 14% after UBS downgraded the stock from neutral to sell, lowered its price target from $10 to $6, and cited NuScale’s long production schedule.
