Discovery — Shares soared 5.8% and more than 7%, respectively, after the Wall Street Journal reported over the weekend that Paramount and California Attorney General Rob Bonta had discussed the details of a settlement over a lawsuit blocking the merger of the two media giants. Accenture — The professional services company’s stock soared more than 6% Friday after Accenture announced it would partner with Anthropic to evaluate the AI company’s models. Anthropic’s announcement said the two companies will invest at least $1 billion to “build capacity in this area.” This comes after Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei called for slowing down AI development. Novo — Shares fell nearly 5% as investors were unimpressed with the company’s long-term goals for competing with the weight-loss market. The Denmark-based company plans to launch at least five medicines by 2030, with risk-adjusted pipeline sales of more than 150 billion Danish kroner ($23 billion) by 2035. Coinbase — The cryptocurrency exchange rose more than 4% following Bitcoin’s rally earlier in the week. The digital currency rose to a high of $85,229.44, the highest level since January 29th. Monday’s move builds on the stock’s recent surge. Coinbase stock soared 10% last week after regulators cleared the way for tokenized stocks. AHAUS — Shares of the home furnishings brand rose nearly 3% in small trading after Jefferies upgraded the company from hold to buy. Analyst Jonathan Matuszewski said there was “new optimism” about the company’s strategy to increase brand awareness.
