Stocks @ Night is a daily newsletter delivered after hours, giving you the first information about tomorrow and the last information about today. Delta Air Lines will release its earnings Friday morning at 6 a.m. ET. Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian will appear live on “Squawk Box” at 7 a.m. The stock price fell about 6% in three months. The stock is down 14% from its July 2 high. Over the past three months, DAL 3M Mountain Delta Air Lines PepsiCo’s Jim Cramer heavily featured the stock on Thursday night’s “Mad Money” after a report with reduced guidance was released. PepsiCo rose about 4% on the session. Organic revenue, net revenue and earnings per share beats were key to Thursday’s optimism, Cramer said. The real story here, Cramer said, “is a reduction in the outlook and earnings growth rate to 2.5% to 3.5%.” “There’s nothing wrong with Pepsi’s sales. Some of the price increases are due to the company’s price cuts,” he said. “CEO Ramon Laguarta is doing a lot of things right,” Kramer added. The stock price has fallen 10.6% since the beginning of the year. “You could probably do worse than buying a Pepsi here,” Kramer said. The stock also provides investors with “real income” with an annual dividend of $5.92, he said. As of Thursday night, the yield was 4.61%. The stock is down 25% from its February high. France France’s 10-year bond yield is hovering around 4.8%. The iShares MSCI France ETF (EWQ) tracks France’s biggest stocks like Renault, Carrefour, Total, Dassault, and of course Danone and L’Oréal…hey! EWQ is down 2% so far this week and 9% for the month. EWQ 1M Mountain iShares MSCI France ETF (EWQ) monthly crude oil and energy Brent futures hovered around $104 per barrel. West Texas Intermediate crude oil futures are near $91. The S&P Energy sector rose 3.8% this week. Every stock in the sector is up this week, with Marathon Petroleum and Valero leading the way, both up more than 9%. ExxonMobil and Chevron both rose more than 2%.
