Here are some companies that are making headlines in intraday trading. Apple — The consumer technology giant rose 1% after announcing its HomeView smart home hub. Powered by Apple Intelligence with Siri AI, this device is designed for multiple people in a household and uses facial recognition to display relevant information. Metaplatform – The social media giant’s stock rose more than 2% for the second day in a row after the rollout of its Muse Wonder artificial intelligence model. The release was well received on Wall Street, and Trust raised its price target from $763 to $1,000. Bumble — Shares soared 56% after the dating app maker announced it would be acquired by Ithaca Holdings in an all-cash deal valuing the company at $1.3 billion. Memory chip stocks — This group fell following weak overnight trading in South Korea. Concerns about memory stocks’ valuations have grown following CXMT’s plans to launch new, more powerful chips by the end of 2026. SK Hynix’s US-listed shares fell 4%, while Western Digital and Seagate fell 2%. Micron fell 4.9% and SanDisk fell 2.7%. AI Infrastructure Trends – A range of artificial intelligence infrastructure stocks fell on Tuesday, along with memory chip stocks. Applied Materials fell 6%, while Lam Research and Teradyne each fell more than 3%. Lumentum fell more than 2%, and the iShares AI Innovation and Tech ETF (BAI) fell nearly 3%. Fermi – Soared 17% after signing a credit support agreement with power grid developer Advanced Micro Devices to help build out the first phase of Fermi’s Project Matador Energy and AI in Texas. The companies also signed an agreement outlining the partnership and framework to expand total power capacity up to 650 MW. JPMorgan Chase — The stock rose slightly after the bank raised its net interest income forecast for this year. Earnings were subdued after the company reported third-quarter profit and sales that were lower than analysts expected. Wells Fargo — Bank shares fell 1% after mixed third-quarter results. Earnings per share were $1.87, beating LSEG’s estimate of $1.85. Sales were $21.87 billion, lower than the $22.3 billion expected. Goldman Sachs — Shares rose nearly 1% after the financial giant reported third-quarter revenue of $18.68 billion, beating LSEG’s estimate of $16.71 billion. Johnson & Johnson — The pharmaceutical giant reported better-than-expected results in the third quarter, but weak medical device sales outpaced revenue. Medtech’s revenue was $8.64 billion, below the consensus call of $8.74 billion from Street accounts. The stock price fell more than 6%. Domino’s Pizza — The pizza chain fell 3% after its third-quarter results failed to impress investors. While earnings per share and sales beat analyst estimates, U.S. same-store sales rose 0.3%, matching only the FactSet consensus. Syndax Pharmaceuticals — Shares fell 16% after the company announced that axatilimab failed to meet its primary endpoint during a Phase 2 trial using the antibody to treat idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. “The MAXPIRe trial did not meet its primary endpoint. Given the promising scientific evidence for IPF, we are disappointed with this result,” Nick Botwood, Syndax’s head of research and development, said in a statement. Six Flags — The amusement park’s stock price fell 16% after a Georgia roller coaster incident killed a man and injured others, according to Cobb County police. UnitedHealth — The health insurance giant reported third-quarter results that beat analysts’ expectations. UnitedHealth had revenue of $112.69 billion and adjusted earnings of $4.69 per share. Analysts expect sales of $111.4 billion and earnings per share of $4.14, according to LSEG. The stock price recently rose less than 1%. —CNBC’s Nick Wells contributed reporting.
