Here are some companies that are making headlines for their extended deals. Whirlpool — The company lowered its full-year revenue outlook from $15 billion to $14.5 billion, dropping nearly 9%. Third-quarter revenue was also lower than expected, coming in at $3.68 billion versus the LSEG consensus estimate of $3.92 billion. The company also had an adjusted loss of 21 cents per share, while analysts had expected earnings of 80 cents per share. JetBlue Airways – The airline soared 7% after the airline said it expects further profit growth in the fourth quarter, even as fuel prices are expected to rise 85% year-over-year. JetBlue reported an adjusted loss of 60 cents per share in the third quarter, compared with a loss of 55 cents expected by analysts surveyed by LSEG. Revenue was also slightly below expectations. Amkor Technology – The provider of semiconductor testing services rose 5% after posting third-quarter revenue of $1.99 billion. That’s more than the $1.9 billion Amkor previously requested, but slightly less than the FactSet consensus request of $2.04 billion. Celestica – The supply chain management company’s stock rose 10% after Celestica raised its full-year outlook. The company now expects adjusted earnings of $11.55 per share, higher than its initial estimate of $11.30 per share and above the FactSet consensus estimate of $11.16 per share. Rambus — This semiconductor name fell 2% despite reporting strong year-over-year revenue and revenue growth in the third quarter. Rambus earned 84 cents per share, excluding certain items, on revenue of $218.3 million. This represents a 35% increase in revenue and a 22% increase in revenue compared to the same period last year. Public Storage — Shares were little changed after the storage company reported better-than-expected results in the third quarter. Public Storage also raised funds for the full year based on operational forecasts. Cadence Design Systems — The electronic systems design company rose 2% after its third-quarter results beat expectations. Cadence Design earned an adjusted profit of $2.11 per share on revenue of $1.63 billion. Analysts polled by LSEG had expected earnings of $2.05 per share, or $1.61 billion. The company also raised its full-year sales growth forecast.
