Nottingham Forest drew 0-0 with Sturm Graz in the Europa League, with Morgan Gibbs-White missing a penalty.

Sunday’s Premier League match against Leeds United at the City Ground featured Sean Dyche, who made seven changes to the team that drew 2-2 with Manchester United, including the omission of Elliott Anderson, Mats Sells and Murillo.

Forest created the better chances in a narrow lead in which the hosts had just three shots, but Gibbs-White had his shot denied by goalkeeper Oliver Christensen from 12 yards out, the club’s first miss, while Nicolas Dominguez hit the crossbar in stoppage time to deny them the winner.

Ryan Yates, who had seen his close-range header go over the line just before the break, also missed an opportunity when he nodded wide from a Gibbs-White cross just after the break.

team news headlines

Forest manager Sean Dyche has made seven changes from Saturday’s draw with Manchester, with only Neco Williams, Nicolo Savona, Morgan Gibbs-White and Nikola Milenkovic remaining in the starting XI.

The closest the Austrian champions came to scoring in the first half was when Forest’s substitute Brazilian goalkeeper John Victor spilled a shot, but Maurice Malone was in an offside position and converted the rebound.

The result means Dyche has only lost one of the four games he has coached as Forest manager and is yet to concede a goal in European football under his watch, following the 2-0 win over Porto.

And with the team having 10 points, enough to secure a knockout victory last season, Forest’s new manager will still be confident that his side, who currently have five points, will progress from the league stage.

Daiche is irritated by the missed opportunity.

“Especially in the first half, I think we dominated, not only with the ball, but with the chances that were created and the quality of them,” Forrest told TNT Sports.

“Aside from the penalty, obviously we had great chances, but we didn’t capitalize on the chances we got from set pieces and some of the last moments.

“In the first half, we had a very dominant performance with the ball, but we also created some good chances, so it’s even more disappointing that we couldn’t score.

“There were some really good performances, and overall I thought we were the strongest team, so I guess it’s frustrating overall.

“And when we take those chances, we often turn the game around and want to go back and score.”

Opta facts: Gibbs-White pays penalty

Morgan Gibbs-White saw a first-half penalty saved by Sturm Graz goalkeeper Oliver Christensen. It was the first time he had failed to convert a penalty against Nottingham Forest, having converted all four before tonight (excluding the shoot-out). It was Nottingham Forest’s second clean sheet in their last 24 games in all competitions. Both are in the UEFA Europa League under manager Sean Dyche (porto in MD3, tonight vs Porto Sturm Graz). Nottingham Forest are managed by Ange Postecoglou. In the two games under manager Sean Dyche, he had nine shots on target and a total of 2.59 goals against, while in the two games under Sean Dyche he had only four shots on target and conceded an xG of just 0.67. Sean Dyche became the fourth English manager to keep a clean sheet in the first two games of the UEFA Europa League (2009-10). ), with Alan Pardew, Gary Neville and Graham Potter.

What will happen to Nottingham Forest?
