During a session with Dreamforce analysts and investors. sales force announced a forecast for fiscal 2030 sales of more than $63 billion, exceeding analyst expectations.

The software vendor was expected to reach $59.2 billion in annual revenue by then, according to analysts surveyed by LSEG.

This year’s Dreamforce comes at a pivotal time for Salesforce, which has had a difficult year due to concerns that artificial intelligence will harm its business. However, it has rebounded recently.

“There are certain moments in our industry where everything changes, and for companies, this is that moment,” CEO Marc Benioff said at the event.

The SaaSpocalypse saga, which began gaining momentum in 2025, has punished Salesforce and other software companies as frontier AI models become increasingly powerful. Salesforce calmed skeptics in its latest earnings report last month by reporting better-than-expected results and announcing a positive outlook.

Earnings were boosted by a $2.6 billion gain from strategic investments following the investment in Anthropic. The stock rose about 23%, its best performance since 2020. Salesforce also announced Claudeforce, which allows organizations to manipulate Salesforce data with Anthropic’s Claude.

A few days earlier, Benioff boasted about two executives returning to Salesforce after working at OpenAI.

This week, Benioff spoke with OpenAI’s Sam Altman, Anthropic’s Dario Amodei, Nvidia’s jensen fan. Salesforce executives touted a new AI inference model called Koa, based on Nvidia’s model, and showed off elaborate custom dashboards containing Salesforce data accessible in Claude.

Patrick Stokes, Salesforce’s president of applications and marketing, told investors and analysts Wednesday that up to 1,000 customers have signed up for Claude’s beta.

Meanwhile, chat app Slack, which Salesforce acquired for $27.1 billion in 2021, has emerged over the past three months as a hub for communication with AI agents, said Alexa Vignone, the company’s president and chief revenue officer.

“We are no longer using the term ‘SaaSpocalypse,'” Miguel Milano, Salesforce’s executive director, said at the event. “I hope that doesn’t happen to you either. Then the market will come back to its senses little by little.”

As stock prices fell this year, Salesforce took advantage. Robin Washington, Salesforce’s chief operating financial officer, said the company has now repurchased $60 billion worth of stock.

Benioff said he was asked, “Should I thank everyone who sold their stock for $150?” “I don’t know what that means exactly, but I appreciate those people.”

The stock’s closing price on Wednesday was over $250.

Salesforce spent hundreds of millions of dollars on Anthropic stock, which is likely worth tens of billions of dollars, Benioff said at the rally.

“We’ll probably end up selling it,” he said, to pay off accelerating share buyback debt. “So it will be a good deal for us.”
