Check out the companies making the biggest pre-market moves: Nike — The company’s stock fell more than 10% after Nike failed to deliver earnings against the LSEG consensus for its fiscal first quarter. The company reported a 4% decline in sales due to a decline in its China business. The company also announced plans to lay off employees in 2027. ON Semiconductor, Synaptics — Shares of Synaptics and ON Semiconductor rose more than 14% and 7%, respectively, following reports that ON Semiconductor will acquire Synaptics for $123 per share in cash. The deal was valued at $5.7 billion, up from the previously agreed upon $7 billion. Nexalin Technology — The medical device company’s stock fell more than 18% in the premarket session after the company announced a 10-year sales and manufacturing agreement with Inovanexa Medical Technologies on Thursday. This means the company’s Nexalin Sync neurostimulator has been approved for distribution in seven South American countries. Vylor — Vylor stock rose slightly after the company was added to the S&P 500 on Thursday. Weiler will also be spun off from Corteva on Thursday and become part of the S&P 500. Corteva plans to move to the S&P Midcap 400. Seagate Technology, Western Digital — Shares of Seagate Technology and Western Digital fell more than 11% and 8%, respectively, following a Nikkei report that Toshiba will double its production capacity for hard disk drives used in data centers and invest $380 million to expand its facilities in the Philippines. This Japanese company is one of the top competitors in the HDD market, along with Western Digital and Seagate Technology.
