paramount skydance CEO David Ellison and incoming co-CEO Inon Kreiz on Monday announced the executives who will lead the soon-to-be-merged Paramount Skydance and Skydance companies. warner bros discoveryafter the deal was completed on Tuesday.
The complete management team will include executives from both companies and will report to Mr. Ellison and Mr. Kreitz, according to a news release.
CBS News Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss and CNN Worldwide Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Mark Thompson will remain in their roles and lead the company’s news division after the merger closes.
Weiss joined Paramount Skydance in October 2025 after the company acquired The Free Press, the digital news organization he founded.
Casey Bloys, currently chairman and CEO of WBD’s HBO and Max content, will oversee HBO Max and Paramount+ streaming operations as co-chairman and chief content officer of Skydance’s direct-to-consumer division, and former Paramount co-CEO George Cheeks will serve as co-chairman and chief content officer of Skydance TV, which includes the company’s global sports group.
JB Perrette, who most recently served as CEO and president of global streaming and gaming at Warner Bros. Discovery, will co-chair both divisions alongside Bloys and Cheeks.
Andy Gordon, Paramount’s chief strategy officer and chief operating officer, will become president of Skydance. Chief Financial Officer Dennis Cinelli will remain in his position.

Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery announced an approximately $110 billion merger agreement in February. The companies announced the deal would close on Tuesday last week after settling a lawsuit from a group of state attorneys general last month.
