U.S. stock futures were little changed Tuesday night after the S&P 500 index hit an intraday high and set a record close for the trading session, led by gains in tech stocks.

Investors are awaiting the minutes of the Federal Reserve’s last meeting in September, when the U.S. central bank raised interest rates for the first time since 2023. Minutes of the meeting are expected to be released on Wednesday and will reveal how monetary policy makers are thinking about the economic situation.
